Be a Biz Opp winner, Not a Business Opportunity Seeker!
With hundreds of business opportunities out there it’s hard to know which one’s right for you. That’s one of the main reasons we set up biz opp money – to help you know which business opportunities work, and which ones don’t. But even though we’re committed to giving you honest, warts ‘n all reviews you may try something we recommend takes a little longer to take off than you’d hoped. You could get frustrated, disillusioned and decide to try a different business opportunity instead. Fair enough, the next one might generate results quicker than the first one. But if not, what are you going to do then? Give up on that and move onto the next one? If so, then you’re in danger of becoming a serial business opportunity seeker. And that’s something you don’t want.
Let’s take a step back for a minute. What is it about genuine business opportunities, especially ones where you can make money from home using your computer, which appeal to you?
It’s probably that you can make lots of money, be your own boss and enjoy the lifestyle you’ve always wanted, right? Right! Fair enough, that’s why we love them too. And business opportunities, the genuine bona fide, tried and tested ones, can do that for you. They’ve done it for us and for other people we know.
But, and here’s the thing, you’ve got to have a bit of realism about the whole thing. If it was a simple case of saying ‘I’m going to make big money online’ and then Wham! you’re a millionaire then we’d all be living in mansions by the end of the week. That’s not to say it doesn’t happen, just not that often.
So when you’ve chosen the business opportunity that seems right for you commit to it. If it doesn’t start working out straightaway give it a bit of time. Ask yourself if there’s a different approach you could be taking? Are you spending enough time on making it work? Are you spending too much time (the old can’t see the wood for the trees scenario!) If after a while you’re still not making the progress you want then maybe it is time to try something else, but whatever you do don’t give up straightaway.
There’s this guy we know who’s determined to be an internet entrepreneur. He’s been slogging away for ten years now on different ideas. Every month he’s got a new scheme that’s going to make it. So he forgets about all the other websites he’s set up, chucks all his time and energy into the new one for a month (not to mention a fair bit of cash) and still he’s getting nowhere. We’ve lost count of how many sites he’s got now. We’ve nicknamed him the business opportunity seeker because he’s always looking for the next opportunity rather than concentrating on the one he’s got.
This other guy we know set up one site, dedicated all his time and energy to it, and within six months he’s made more money than the business opportunity seeker has in ten years!
You stand a much better chance of being a biz opp winner if you focus on one business opportunity at a time. When that’s up and running, making you money and pretty much taking care of itself, then is the time to go out and look at other business opportunities to add to your portfolio. Because in our opinion it’s always better to be a Master of one trade than a Jack of none.
