Make Money with Google AdSense

Here’s a great tip for making extra money from your website. Its quick and easy to set up, it’s a great way to maximize the cash you can make online, the Google AdSsense program is specifically designed to compliment your website (so the ads don’t stick out like a sore thumb) and best of all its totally FREE to sign up.

So here’s how you get on board the great big Google gravy train:

Go to Google’s Advertising Programmes page here http://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/ads/
Choose Google AdSense on the right hand-side
Click on the ‘apply’ button.
Fill in the application form (just some basic details about you and your site)

And BOOM! Within a couple of minutes you’ll have finished and your Google AdSense account will be up and running. And you’ll be able to start putting ads up on your website which can make you money pretty much straightaway.

Our advice is to make sure the ads you publish fit in with your site as best you can because people are more likely to click on them. That means you want to take a bit of time to think about the colour scheme you’re going to use. Ideally the background wants to be the same shade as that of your site, but the ad titles want to be in colours which really stand out and attract people’s attention.

But be careful. Because if your site contains adult material or anything which might be deemed offensive then Google might reject your application. And whatever you do, don’t start clicking on the ads yourself thinking you’ll make loads of money and Google will never know. That old chestnut’s known as ‘click fraud’ and Google will be on it quick as a flash. You’ll end up having your account shut-down, getting banned from their AdSense program and you’ll also lose all the money you made (even if some of it was through legitimate clicks). If you are personally interested in an ad on your site then just type the URL into your browser and play it safe.

You can’t actively encourage people to click on the ads either. Publishing them under a banner which says ‘CLICK ON OUR ADS BELOW NOW!’ could get you kicked out of the program the same way click fraud would.

But if you play it safe and promote your site well you Google AdSense could well become a great way for you to make money from the internet.
