Have you heard of IntelliTXT? If you haven’t heard the name, we’re willing to bet you’ve seen it in action without realising it.

IntelliTXT, as its name rather suggests, is an intelligent way to make money from your website or blog with minimum effort. It works like this: you

install a little bit of their code onto your page (much in the same way you would with google adsense) and IntelliTXT does the rest - quite literally.

From now on when someone views your website IntelliTXT will pick out and underline certain keywords. If the viewer runs his mouse over the underlined word an advert pops up. If they then click, you get a kick back!

Easy peasy.

There’s just a couple of things worth bearing in mind though if you’re thinking of delving into this cool, bang up to date (technologically) online business opportunity…

1. Your website needs to deliver more than 500,000 page views a month and EVEN then you’re not guaranteed a spot.
2. The ads are actually a tad annoying. Every time a reader accidentally brushes his/her mouse over the underlined IntelliTXT word an advert pops up and obscures some of the words. I fear that many readers will be put up by this form of advertising and may even abandon a site permanently if they find its adverts too intrusive and annoying.

Perhaps in the long term this isn’t the best online business opportunity. Sure it might make you money in the short term but will it put a dent in your readership? It’s harder to claw back readership than it is to swap advertising program…

In short, if you make the 500,000 page views a month criteria then fantastic, this could be a nice little online business opportunity for you to sink your teeth into. All we’re saying is think of your audience. Without them you won’t have to worry about making money… there won’t be any to make!
