In the good old days when Danny and I were just starting out in the ‘crazy’ world of online business opportunities it was ALL about affiliate marketing. If you weren’t in on the ‘affiliates’ gig then you were missing out big time.

Well, it’s not too late, because in our opinion, the best way to bump up any affiliate marketing income from your website is to use Amazon Associates.

Why Amazon Associates?

Well, for one thing Amazon are one of the most trusted affiliates in the business. Buy something from Amazon and you tend to feel pretty confident that your money’s safe.

That’s why linking to their products from your site’s an excellent bet. But don’t just have a big fat link to Amazon and ‘hope for the best’. To make the most from your Amazon Associates account you need to put links to their products in the best possible context.

So… how about having your own ‘What’s on my ipod’ section or a ‘Music I’m listening to’ sidebar on your website or blog?

This is a proven way to make money from your website without lifting a finger. People come onto your site and if they like what they see they may take a look what kind of music, books and videos you’re into.
